I started visiting TriCovery for sports massage to aid in my run training recovery in 2014/2015. After running 3 marathons and being injured for over a year, I started working with a Functional Corrective Exercise Specialist, Adam Mundy. He worked wonders and I was able to finally run without experiencing the pain I had just accepted as being part of my life since a car accident where I was passenger in 2006. I had been to numerous physical therapists from that time. From being in the hospital/rehabilitation and having to learn to walk and home my head up to seeing various PT’s in a number of cities throughout my post accident running career. The first time I was able to experience pain free running since 2006 was when I started working with Adam Mundy. Although he works in the basement gym at TriCovery in Novi, don’t let that fool you. This guy knows the body and the slight, muscular movements/ patterns that are often over looked by Physical Therapists who have the latest and greatest available to them. I am now seeing a hip specialist at a physical therapy location and, still refer to Adam and what I have learned with him to be able to get through my runs and everyday moments.
