The first step in facilitating treatment at Tri-Covery is always a Therapeutic Needs Assessment. Your recovery therapist will take the time to get to know you, learn about your athletic or injury experience and take you through some basic tests to determine exactly what your needs are. Your therapist will then create an individualized recovery plan that addresses those needs and may include a combination of massage and flexibility therapies.

Fascial Stretch Therapy® (FST)

Avoid Injury – Increase Flexibility – Relieve Pain

There are a limited number of Fascial Stretch Therapy® (FST) trained therapists in the nation, but you’ll find many of them at Tri-Covery. Tri-Covery is one of the few recovery facilities that has sent therapists to the Stretch To Win Institute for training and certification in this revolutionary new therapy. This unique manual therapy technique is being sought out by pro athletes, weekend athletes and individuals suffering with chronic pain for its amazing results. RockTape® – Kinesiology Therapy

It’s all about helping you move better, improving performance and relieving pain. Over half of our therapists are certified with the use of RockTape in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) at the FMT Performance level. Neurokinetic Therapy®

Experience “the missing link” in chronic pain therapy. This specialized technique addresses the source of muscle movement patterns that need to be “reprogrammed” in order to end the cycle of chronic pain. Jeff Kong has received training in this therapy.

Specialty Tools & Techniques

Body Tempering

This technique uses a heavy steel roller to increase muscle strength, function and pliability along with breaking down adhesions. It is also valuable in decreasing the risk of injury. Members of our team have gone through specific training in body tempering from world-class power lifter and performance recovery expert, Donnie Thompson.


Voodoo Floss Bands

Compression therapy that facilitates restoration of joint motion, especially after injury.

All of our therapists are Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT). Therapeutic massage is at the base of all that we do. We use several different massage techniques, depending on the needs and goals determined in your Therapeutic Needs Assessment. They may include one or more of the following:

LifeStretch Classes

What is LifeStretch?

LifeStretch utilizes self-traction to create space in joints, greater ease of movement, avoid pinching joints and to yield bigger gains in mobility. When traction with inhalation is followed by exhalation on the mobility-stretch sequences, range of motion increases rapidly without discomfort. Since many people have past negative experiences with stretching being painful and/or too time consuming with little benefit, their positive LifeStretch experience will ensure regular, frequent attendance.

Taking it one step further, our therapists add in functional education to help you understand WHY you want to move your body these ways and what real life health and pain issues you may be dealing with on a regular basis that you can HELP YOURSELF address.

This class is for athletes, weekend warriors, desk jockeys and all of your parents AND your kids. Its real, everyday information you can use to ease pain and increase movement WITHOUT turning to pharmaceutical or surgical help.
