John is another graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, MI. John spent the last couple of decades in sales and marketing for some well-known television networks, A&E, The History Channel and The Food Network before making a major career change. Physical fitness has always been a big part of his life. He is an avid crossfitter and trained for and ran in the Detroit marathon. It was John’s research into maintaining fitness as your body ages that sparked his interest in massage therapy as a new career direction.
Educating His Clients
Because of John’s personal involvement in crossfit and marathons, crossfit athletes and Ironman marathoners make up a big part of his client list. In addition to working with them on the table, John gives them “homework” to do in between visits. Empowering and educating his clients in the care of their bodies is a vital piece of what John does. John tells his clients that his number one goal for them is to educate them on how their body moves and how it should move. Once they understand this, it becomes easier for them to recognize when their movement is not what it should be and can meet with John to work on the issue.
Name That Movie

His aging boxer, Baron, is his faithful companion when running or relaxing during a movie night at home. Schedule a session with John and ask him which is his favorite Star Wars movie.
